White smoke that smells like I've gas out of the tailpipe

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 1996 k1500 when I crank it white smoke
comes out of the tailpipe and smells of gas. I was
told it was the spider injectors that one of them
was stuck open so I replaced them. Upon replacing
the spider injector I pulled the spark plugs to see if
they were getting any fire and gas sprayed out of
the number two cylinder any suggestions to what's
going on here I'm at a loss. Thanks in advance.

Yes sir I'm sure its not coolant haven't replaced any and it smells of raw gas.
As tennisshoes said, have it checked for any codes. From what you explained there ought to be some. This would let you know what to look at to be fixed. Post the codes here also.

pull the o2 sensor out stick a paper towel or rag of some kind in there crank it over run it for 30 sec and shut it off pull rag out and see if drenched with gas if yes need more info on what spider injector you installed a direct replacement or the mpfi conversion one. if you don't know did u just have snap clips or did u have 2 wires at the end of each leg. if u have a regular snap in line only need more info
