I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my '91 c1500 305 for the first time and im not sure
what the gap should be at.

5.0L & 5.7L = .035 but what does the sticker say under the hood !

5.0 and the 5.7 is .045 have a 94 Suburban 5.7

the sticker under the hood was gone when i bought the truck.

i have a 95 chevy c1500 v8 200k plus miles. new battery. seems to short out and die, and wont restart. when key is turned on the amp gauge barely moves up. ive tried fumbling with the obvious wires (+ - wires etc) with no change. its done this once before. i let the truck sit for about a month then bought a new batt and problem went away. today while driving it died, with the same symptoms. also ive notice that when driving the blinkers make the amp gauge fluctuate down with every flash. thanks in advance for response 11 Answers

so the other day i moved my 1997 chevy k1500 in my driveway and put my plow on then let it run for a while. I came bacj to it about 30 mins later and it was dead. I tried to crank it but got nothing. after going over everything replacing coil icm ecm crank sensor cam sensor plugs wires complete distributer from cap to oil pump . I have spark but when it it reaches distributer i get no spark to wires. Any ideas? I have never seen this before, im at a loss, please help!! 7 Answers
