Can I turbocharge a 1991 chevy k1500 extended cab with a 350 automatic motor? Possibly what kind of turbo and cooling system? Trying to make a prerunner and I really would like to beef the engine more

Either way, is your motor strong enough to hold the extra boost? Will the transmission hold up? Some motors are made to take the extra power on the pistons, rods, and crankshaft, others will for a while until damage starts. The transmissions need to be built up for the higher hp. Also the drive train and rear ends. Do the homework first before upping the HP.
