There isn't a 97 tbi engine. They switched to the vortec style in 96.

I have a 1995 Silverado z71 5.7L. It will randomly lose all power both while in motion or stationary and sometimes will kick itself back on. Every once in a while when it does this it will not turn back on. No lights on the dash or anything. Almost like there is no battery in the truck. There is no ground single coming from the ecm to the injectors. I have replaced the ecm and throttle position, air idle, and map sensors. I also checked the ground wires and cleaned the conections.
