Is 4.7 engine in a single cab Tundra with TRD pkg sufficient enough performance wise

The Tundra with the 4.7 puts out about 271 HP. This is pretty decent, as my single-cab '07 Dodge Ram has only a 3.7 with 230 HP give or take, and it's OK, but the 4.7 would be that much better in a slightly smaller truck like the Tundra.
