Alternator failure on repeat

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 camry has had the alternator replaced 2x in
18 months and needs to be replaced again. Coils
have also been replaced as well as belts. What are
we missing?

Your alternator is computer controlled, so if it's not charging or overcharging, the problem may not be with the alternator but the module that controls it. Since that's not something you can diagnose at home, may want to bring it to a dealership or qualified mechanic and have them run it on their computer diagnostics.
