I have a 2007 toyota Camry. When driving today a.c. was not working then it was working. Noticed check engine light and no heat on thermometer. It then started rattling when accelerating. 2 miles later it ratttled while idling then died. I was thinking a belt because it smelled a.little rubbery but the belt is in place. Maybe a pulley? Any ideas

I was trying to fix it out of shop. Ended up being two bad sensors. Crank shaft and air

Are you saying the engine in this vehicle had a bad crankshaft?

Soooo.....a bad "crank sensor" and a bad "air sensor" fixed the AC issue on this vehicle. Got it. Thanks..
Yeah, sounds like someone replaced some unrelated parts and did some black magic............

Are there still folks out there in the Auto Service and Repair Industry doing that?
