No acceleration?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I press gas pedal, the car does not pick up
speed as it should? what could be the possible
cause for it...? But it is moving 5 mph

Your car has gone into "limp mode". It has slowed down to protect itself. Is your check engine light on? If so, you should have the error codes read. Something has failed like a sensor of some kind. If you live close to an Autozone, they will usually throw a scanner on it for free and check your codes. http://grego.ca/limp.htm
