Question type: Maintenance & Repair

1991 Camaro RS.  I purchased as a "roller".  After much work, I got the engine running
again.  Then when I drove it for about a 1/4 mile to test it, the brakes on all 4 wheels
locked up.  I had parked it in the driveway and was going to left my wife try it out.  She
got in it and it wouldn't hardly move.  I couldn't even push it with it in neutral.  What would
cause all the brakes to lock up, all at once?

How long did the car sit before you bought it? the proportioning valve may be messed up. Pull the wheels to see if the calipers are clamped down, crack open the bleeder and give the caliper a good smack to see if that breaks it loose, also check the condition of the brake lines, you may be replacing all of it.
