My 91 RS Camaro lost all power after bypassing Vats

I installed a new steering column and then bypassed Vats so the new chip key would work and now I have no power to anything.  Everything gains power except the injectors if I run a hot wire from battery to ignition hole on the fuse box. Any ideas would be helpful.
