My 1991 z28 camaro has a 305 tpi v8 engine and a manual clutch. It has powered seats, but it doesnt have powered windows and no t-tops. Any thoughts of what it is?

Asked by Marshall08 Jan 06, 2018 at 11:33 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Coupe RWD

Question type: General

It has a yellow "z28" emblem on the dash. When we bought it, the guy said it
was the IROC with the 5.7l engine. We did some research and found it wasnt
the iroc. Confused as to what exactly the model is. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Why don't you look up your Vin number or look up an original part on it by it's part number. That should tell you what your vehicle is

You have a "clone". Someone put a few IROC parts on your car.

I have the right answer, in 1991 Chevrolet stopped production on the iroc z, you have a z28 and the reson it has no power windows is because z28 was a racing package and it was less weight to not have the window motor inside, the t-tops was just an option and actually added more weight and had a tediousy to leak

If you posted a pic of the rpo codes in the center console I could tell you what it is without the vin.
