1991 chevy suburban V1500 sometimes won't start

Asked by matthew_c_parsons Jun 15, 2015 at 10:18 PM about the 1991 Chevrolet Suburban V1500 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Runs fine most of the time but sometimes will not
start, but if you wait any where from 15 minutes to
2 hours, it will start right up. When you turn to run
battery shows 12V and dash lights turn on and
fuel pump kicks on but starter solenoid won't kick
on.
