The first generation S-10 ran from 1982 to 1993. There is no guarantee that all parts will interchange so compare them.

Pretty sure you can. You might have to change out motor mounts and maybe the trans. Some stories i have listened to is that you can bolt the motor right in to the trans. Just depends on if you have a 4.3 or the 4 banger.
