02 Jag X-Type 3.0. Engine light is on. No codes. 1500 rpm hesitation.

When driving uphill at 1500 rpm the engine hesitates. Past that it's good. Does anyone know what this might be caused by?

could be multiple issues, Spark plugs, air filter, fuel injectors, fuel pump. Also if the Engine Light is on there has to be a code, the light only turns on when the computer receives a error code from one of the electrical components such as Mass air flow sensors or Fuel injectors.
