I need help finding out why my jaguar xj8 will not receive gas I try to pump gas and it comes back out.

finally got that one to post....I see two wires goin to it...you might want to check voltage TO this valve before you attempt to replace it~ check fuses~

Have you checked the inertia switches for the fuel rail? The inertia switch is a small black box, about the size of a cigarette pack behind the right side kick panel. You should be able to feel the top of it just behind the top edge of the panel cover. There is a round pin the rises out of the top when tripped. You just push it back down and it resets.

yes....the vent of the air/fuel mix is either absorbed into a charcoal canister or disappears into the intake~ this valve will enable the fumes to get to the canister~

simple right hand charcoal canister(next to right muffler) there is a solenoid valve with connector going to it pop the valve of and go get gas be sure to replace with new valve mike (loconnell@msn.com)
