I have a 2002 Chevrolet Corvette and everything was fine then all of a sudden my oil pressure gauge goes from 40psi to 80psi in 2 seconds ?? No oil leaks no oil seepage anywhere. Turned car off let it sit for 30 mins cranked it same thing immediately. I also turned ignition on without cranking car and same thing- 0-80 psi on gauge and digital readout 130 psi?? All other gauges are working fine,- voltage, fuel, temp. What could be the issue? Please help 3 Answers

Changed the oil, cannot remember the odd sequence to cycle the change oil light off. Turn key, hit fuel guage button twoce, something like that....
