Are you sure that isn't a circuit breaker? Do you have power windows on this vehicle? I have seen metal power window circuit breakers get so hot, you couldn't hardly touch it. The problem may be a faulty power window motor. Just my opinion.

You have to be sure the fuse your talking about is actually a circuit breaker that runs the power windows? Usually if circuit breaker gets hot, the breaker will trip then none of the power windows will work. After the circuit breaker cools off, it will reset and start working again. In the past, I have bench tested power window motor and found it faulty, it wouldn't run with jumper wires connected to battery for voltage and ground. I'd hate to see you pull a power window motor and then find out, that isn't the problem. I can't see anything from here?
