Transmission replacement years

Have fluid level checked by a qualified mechanic. These are supposed to be fillled for life, with no dipstick or filler pipe. Must use a very specific filling procedure . It’s been my experience that one of these transmissions that is as little as one liter low will behave erratically. Since there isn’t a dipstick they must be filled/checked from below using a pump.

Thanks we opened it up by removing pan it was apparent transmission was burnt brownish transmission fluid and metal pieces in bottom of the pan! Thanks for your answer and I still wish I could find out which years of ford explorers and any other that could be switched ar?!
