Hi. I just had a backyard mechanic install a new serpentine belt. Right after this I noticed my car is not running as smooth.Feel vibration through the steering wheel and somewhat of a rough idle. Thx

Is there a bit of a breaking in period
for a new belt? Maybe this is why the
car is running not a smooth?

He has knocked a vacuum line off, spark plug wire or unplugged a sensor and didn't plug it back in.

Thx Tom. I didn't think so. Wishful thinking I guess. Just hope my mechanic friend can detect what he did wrong.If not,off to shop where I should have gone in the first place!
