Oil leakage from main rear seal, will tuiscos a lot to replace? Also what about the dash lights not working?

About to buy a 1997 sport wagon with some glitches...has 187k n it!! Will it die soon?!

It really depends on the quantity of the leakage from the rear main seal, but if it wasn't bad, I'd wait until I had to do a clutch on the car to replace it. Keep aware of the oil level in the car and it would be fine. Dash lights are bulbs that can be replaced.
