Ej25 wiring harness

I bought an ej25 motor only.  It came out of a 97
impreza a/t awd.  I need a wiring harness and ecu.  
Is there models and or years that would work or do
i have to find the exact model/ year it came out of?
It's going in a vanagon and will need modified
anyways.

You can buy an ECU online but I am not sure about the wiring harness. Best to get one from the same year car if possible.

It's possible that a '93-'01 harness can be made to work, but will a 2.5i fit in the old 2.2i's space?

According to the serial number on the motor, it came out of a 97 impreza sport wagon. The motor is stamped ej25 also. Most of the stuff ive read says they didn't put ej25 in an impreza in 97, only ej22. Maybe the site that I used to code the serial number isn't accurate
