Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi I own a 1997 subaru legacy gt boxer twin
turbo and the other day I was driving home
from work on the motorway and it felt like I
had a really bad boost leak it was hiccuping
as if it had no gas for a couple seconds then
when I got up to the last set of lights it was
stalling and hiccuping on me again but this
time I could barley even use the gas
managed to get it home but hasnt started
ever since it kicks over normal but just
doesnt start think it may be the MAF
affecting the spark and fuel any help please

Has the timing belt ever been changed? How many miles on this car? Was the fuel level low?
