my 2006 3.0 subaru outback seems to wobble at 30mph a little, i have very little  
drop in fuel mpg maybe (22mpg now 20). planning to check spark plugs.no loss
of power from what i can tell

Try a tune up and see what happens. I would also use a good fuel system cleaner in the gas.
