2005 Z51 differential

Asked by GuruDVB97B Aug 13, 2024 at 01:53 PM about the 2005 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My '05 corvette has 155,000 mi on it, and the rear end "clanking" on slow hard
turns is becoming worrisome. As I understand, no one makes replacement
parts for vet differentials older than 10 years. Any ideas?

Check with a wrecking yard and see if there is an interchange with a newer year. Or take a chance with a used unit.
