Just replaced worn out water pump. No leakage so problem resolved. Now

Replace with new cap,if that dont fix the issue, you may have internal head damage creating pressure. This is usually caused by running engine hot.

did that fix the problem ? because the thermostate and air in the cooling system comes into play also..

Agree with kelly, but if you replaced pump, you must have heated the engine up,just my thought,s.

Engine did run hot while sitting in a long line. Drove two blocks to auto store, let cool and filled with antifreeze and water. After that is when noticed water pump leaking. Will get new cap and try that. Thank you.
