I have a 1996 Land Rover Discovery 4.0 V8 with a manual transmission. After speaking to several online LR parts warehouses and several dealer parts depts, no on seems to know if there is a neutral safety switch for the manual trans. Does anyone know what will keep a 1996 manual LR Discovery from starting while it's in gear? Besides the obvious answer of not turning the key... 3 Answers

I have a 2000 discovery II, check engine light stays on code says its the cam position sensor changed it out and it still stays on.can anyone give me any info. thank you 1 Answer
