Replaced power steering and flushed whole system, steering wheel is still hard to turn

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I’ve flushed the system and replaced the
pump and the steering wheel is still stiff.
My uncle had told me that it could be a
sensor in the power steering system that
went bad . Is there one in a 2004 Acura
TL? He also said the last option is the rack.
I know the fluids aren’t being blocked
because I flushed it. We also tried working
the air out of the systems for 15-20 mins

He is correct, there is usually a pressure valve that directs pressure to the direction of your turn
look on lower part of drawing for "PS control valve"
Thank you !!!! So does this mean i don’t need a rack just a new valve?
Following up, curious what happen, cause i have the same issue, let me jnow thanks
Also having this same issues on my 2008 TL. Replaced the pump and flushed fluid, and steering is still stiff. I bought a new pressure switch and tried removing the old one but couldn’t get it off, so I’m going to take it to my mechanic this evening. Did repacking the pressure switch work for you, OP?
Did this ever fix the issues?
Yes i did, rebuilt the whole rack n opinion apparently valves inside got ruined even though it did not leak...good luck all. Thanks for all the suggestions
