Dealerships refuse to service old models?

Asked by Chris Jun 15, 2018 at 09:52 PM about the 2000 Land Rover Range Rover 4.0 SE 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 range rover SE that has some
electrical problems. I knew that when I bought it
and now have the money to get it running right but
the dealerships in colorado springs refuse to
service models older than 4 years. I would rather
pay more and have the work done right but land
rover customer service said I'd have to go too a
third party that works on them. Do I just have a
garbage dealership near me or is range rover
service really this atrocious?

How they do business is up to them. Apparently they are arrogant or just too busy. In my opinion having the work "done right" is far from a sure thing at dealers.

Understand their a pita, that's why I want to bring it to the people who made it. Of anyone in the world they should understand their own vehicles. They made the f*** blue prints. Seriously worst vehicle company in the world with servicing their own products. Hell I'm willing to spend a first full. Just blows my mind.
