Timing Belt

Kia is recommending that I get my Timing Belt changed at 60K.  Is that really necessary?  I was thinking around 70k or 80k

Kia has had a problem with them breaking - Get it done at 60k

I agree. $1,800 repair bill for timing belt loss and valve job because of it.

2012 kia timing belt blew at 104,000 miles.Estimated cost as of now from mechanic 4000.00.I bought an extended warranty,we will see how that goes
