07 Kia Spectra rear speakers

Front speakers work fine, not a problem with those,
I go to fade and put the fade on the rear speakers
and with blown they would make noise, but these
ones seem to not want to make any noise at all,
and it's both speakers not one or the other, I looked
at speakers under the rear cover and they are both
plugged in, doesn't work for radio or aux, any ideas
what my problems may be?

I have similar problem [but with fronts, not rears], 2010 Kia Soul. Swapped in new radio head unit: no change. Swapped in new speakers: no change. It is the basic model with 4 door speakers and tweeters on the dash. NO external amp / sub in the rear. ?????

    I have been noticing water on passenger side and trying to find the problem. This morning There was about an inch in the front and rear passenger side. Can any one help? Or has this issue.
