Ac noise remains on even with car turned off

Asked by Judyfedt Oct 17, 2014 at 06:27 PM about the 2007 Kia Rio Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2007 Kia Rio used to intermitently turn on & off.  Recently the ac worked but when I
turned off the car the ac fan would remain on.  Today the car won't start. It's been on a
battery charger for over 5 hours & still won't start.

I don't have an answer to your question because I am having the same problem with my 2007 Kia rio. Just wondering if you ever figured out what the problem was or how to fix it. We have leafy bought one new battery and it sometimes need jumped again

It was the relay switch that my husband switched out. Now it works & doesn't have the fan running anymore. Hopefully that will solve your problem.
