2007 Mercury Grand Marquis Engine Swap

My question is simple.
I currently have a 2007 Grand Marqui, equipped with a 4.6

My only question is with the way the car is stock, can I
remove my 4.6 and put a 5.0 in place of it?

My main concern is if the Trans is interchangeable between
the two.
