where do i find Body Control Module

The body control module needs to be diagnosed by a shop using a scan tool. If it truly is bad, the new one needs to be programmed to your vehicle using the VIN and a scan tool. Not something for the do it yourselfer. Jim
I totally agree with James. Messing with this system can only bring you more grief.
Thank you, Gentlemen. Any thoughts on the door control module... as far as it being the culprit when dealing with car locks including the trunk lock radio turning off when the door gets opened after the ignition has been turned off. rear defogger and the interior light also do not work correctly. Just trying to get my head wrapped around the possibilities so I don't get screwed at the dealer.
Yes the door module does handle door functions, the radio turning off when the door opens is a normal function, even GM vehicles do that, rear defogger is on a separate system so the defogger itself or the relay, inside light goes through the light module and switch. Unfortunately you do have one of the more complex vehicles so yes it is time for a professional but you don’t need the dealer to check it out, they only want your money and will charge you a diagnostic fee and will say sorry we can’t fix it due to parts n longer available.
