2001 Acura 3.2 TL

Asked by VONCIA Nov 02, 2016 at 09:53 PM about the 2001 Acura TL 3.2 FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Acura 3.2 TL and I really haven't had any problems until, I left the gas station and my car started making a loud knocking noise under the hood and it was skipping like it was trying to stall. Eventually I pulled over after driving and trying to get back home which was 15 min away because the car started smoking and turned the car off I sat there for a minute or two and then I tried to crank the car back up and she would not crank what could this be.

I was hoping not to hear that. That has been everybody answer when I describe what I heard. There is no way around not having to buy a new motor at this point is it. I can not believe this is happening to me. Thanks for your answer.
