No low oil level. Just had oil changed.checked it to verify. ONLY when I break.

The reason I ask is low oil level and braking could mean that the oil moves away from the oil pickup in the oil pan. Perhaps it is a false low. You could replace the sending unit to see if it solves the problem.

I thought the same thing with the oil moving to the front when breaking and away from the sensor. It's a false low read.

Did you figure this problem out? Mine does the same thing. I started running 10w40 in mine and it temporarily fixed the problem but id still like to fix the real issue.

I found my hummer burns oil. No smoke ever . No drips. Good for awhile but then oil light comes back on. Should be a recall

I have 2007 Hummer h3 100k miles Oil light comes on at random times ONLY WHEN BREAKING !! goes off when you start to drive. I have oil on dip stick every time Waiting to replace the oil sensor hopefully that fixes it any help?

There is a pipe running off the oil pump (oil pickup tube/pipe) that has a screen/ mesh in its end , this can become clogged with debris, especially from small bits of timing chain guides being warn from timing chain , this will cause low flow of oil causing oil light to come on.
