my 2007 gmc yukon denali xl has very dim daytime panel back lights

that could be a number of things lets start by making sure your dimmer switch/knob is turned all the way up, typically to left of the steering wheel where you can turn your headlights on to auto or manual there is a dimmer switch that if you turn all the way up will turn your interior lights on. if you turn it all the way up without turning on interior lights the panel should be lit up bright....have you already checked that? also is it brighter at night?
