corvette 2002 Z06 climate control module
1 Answer
Have you removed the module yet? If you have, does the DIC indicate "Reduced Power Mode"? If not, you should be able to drive it. If you haven't yet removed the module, you may not have to. It may simply need a reset. My 2000 C5 climate control used to malfunction occasionally, but, I would reset it and it functioned fine. The reset procedure is fairly easy... You have to disconnect the battery ground, then find the climate control fuse, (I believe it's fuse #27, or you can check the lid of the fuse box) remove that fuse, reconnect the ground and start the car and run for about 30 seconds. Then replace the fuse and restart the car and test the climate control. (Make sure both control knobs are at the "center position") It may take a couple tries, but it should do the trick, and save you a lot of head aches. Let me know if ya need some help and I'll walk you through. Good Luck, Joey
