My front windshield wiper blades park in the upposition. Can I reset the motor...?

No. On some models it will loosen the nut that holds the wiper arm on to keep from stripping the motor out. Take the wiper arms off and set them back on the windshield where they are supposed to be. If they run and park normal it is ok.If not you have to replace the motor.
Wait a minute....If I understand correctly to loosen the wiper arm bolts and remount the arms in the down position (startpoint) will cause them to drive downward from the down parked position when I activate the system.
If it is in the park position they should raise up not down. If your not sure, take them off and turn them on and off without the arms being installed. Then mount them after the cycle. I f the nuts have not loosened up and let the arms turn it is the motor. You will know as soon as you try to loosen the nut.it will be finger tight. If not it has junked the motor.
