Does switching gear (D to N then D) while the car is running ruin the Automatic transmission?
I own a 2007 Honda Accord. I was just wondering if switching from D to N the D will ruin
the transmission. While driving sometime it takes longer to brake while the car is on D so
I usually switch it so N then switch it back then go on.

Don't do that. If you want to use engine braking, downshift to 2 not N

What do you mean "takes longer to brake". If it seems as though it is difficult to brake then there could be a torque converter control solenoid problem.
Use 2 or 1(L) to use the engine to brake if you have to do anything. Don't put the car in and out of neutral to slow down & stop. Get the car checked out if the engine keeps pulling the car when braking, could be the converter as mentioned above, or the idle is not dropping properly or the brakes could be badly worn down or not moving freely when braking.
