I need help on what transmission fluid to use for
my 1999 Acura TL 3.2 V6 please help.

I would just go to the dealer and pay the $8** a quart rather than try to match it up on advice from a parts jockey , change it out though

What kind of dealer cause there ain't a acura dealer near me? Sorry I'm new to this.

Just get some ATF fluid that lists Honda ATF Z1 on the label and you will be fine. Probably Valvoline Maxlife will be just fine.

You can also go to your local auto parts store and they can tell you, or you can look it up on line at any of those auto parts store also

I would not put anything but genuine Honda/Acura fluid in a ln Acura transmission. A mechanic put a substitute in mine, and two days later, my transmission overheated. Almost cost thousands, but caught it in time.
