Starting issues

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe and
it will not crank on its own. I have to
disconnect the wire from the battery
and apply pressure to it while
disconnected in order for it to crank
Otherwise I just get a clicking sound
No turn over
I have taken it to several mechanics
that were baffled and have never
seen this type of problem
I can guess right off hand a few
things it could be but I wanted a
second opinion
