Why is my alternator not charging?

Car died battery dead no voltage at
alternator output post where does that
circuit run to before getting to the battery?

use a charger and get battery charged up. Battery connections all good. Note the wiring diagram. the bat terminal at generator is hot all the time, even with key off. note the fusible in generator bat circuit. There a junction at starter motor.
