My AC was working and then it stoped after 2 ok r 3 days.

My AC was working and then it
stoped the compressor is not
kicking on checked to see if it had
freon which it did so I didn't know if
I let to much out so I took
everything out and tryed to refill the
line but it wou ldn't not hardly take
any and on the gauge it raises to
the red on its own this is a new to
me compressor

Sounds clogged. Did you vacuum it? If it won't come down to 24 -29 inches of mercury, you probably have a clog. If it stays at 0 you probably have a large leak, but you should have noticed when you refilled.

Hi have not had it vacuum wasn't sure how much that costed is there any way for me to do it trying to save money and I'm pretty sure there's not a leak because when I empty the line there was still stuff in it

and when I drain the line completely and tried to add more to it it won't hardly take any freon
