i have 2011 equinox. had it for a week. Have gotten a message that says..."engine power reduced" and my engine symbol came up on dash. 1 Answer

2007 chevy equinox LT AWD overheats at idle, idle is dropping to below 1000 rpms, can put in neutral and get rpms up to 1500 or more and problem goes away, when it does overheat it also says to check engine oil, i have replaced thermostat and flushed radiator, and changed the oil. anyone have any ideas, thinking it is electrical short, or something like that, when on highway i have no problems. 3 Answers
