Question type: Maintenance & Repair
After a 1 1/2 hr ride and car sits for 4-5hrs the front brakes pull to the left/right when braking in local traffic at a light. It also has happened when the is first started in local traffic. Any suggestions?

You may have to take the caliper apart & clean the tiny hole that lets the pressure ecape back to the master cylinder. I have done so many times on my motorcycles as they tend to sit during winter & the white powder from aluminum starts to form & then plugs the hole. You can open the bleed screw on the caliper to let the pressure go,just to get U back home! -T-
The car is used about 4x per week. Is it an easy task to clean the pressure escape back to the m cylinder? Where is this tiny hole located? I have extended an warranty so is the job best to have the dealer handle?
It's fairly easy, but U have to take the caliper off, take the pistons out, u'll see the holes at the bottom of each cylinder bore. Not a big deal, just take it to a Chevy dealer & it'll be done in 1/2 an hour.
HAVE CALIPERS CHECKED AND LINING OF BRAKE PADS ALSO CHECKED .HAVE BRAKE LNINGS CHECKED FOR LEAKS. BLEED BRAKE SYSTEM.
