Can I upgrade to these tires?

I have a 2007 Chevy Impala LS base model. They have the base 225/R16's on them. I
have a chance to upgrade to the stock LTZ/Monte Carlo tires & rims 235/50R18's. I just
want to make sure the wheelbase is the same on all the models & there won't be any
issues if I put these on? Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

Kelly- No the tires I have on the now are 60's(225/60R 16's). I think the 50 just means they are a lower profile but not 100% sure? Thank you for your in depth answer...
if you have the base model. All but the base LS model come standard with anti-lock brakes (ABS) and traction control. you said they are offered on the LTZ/Monte Carlo ..check for full turning radius..
