My key to my 2007 Chevy Impala broke off in the driver's door. I do not have a spare and I am not the original owner. What are my options?

Not to bad! remove the key if you can't someone can. Then have a key cut you have the key head so you can use it as the transponder attached to the new key. You might have to remove the door lock cylinder to extract the key.. But there are many ways to remove the key. OK the next OPTION is to CLONE a key you have the key head you broke off from the key have the frequency read and copied to the new key $60 dollars MAX use the vin to cut fresh key. or your old extracted key.
