My 2007 Aspen Chrysler switches to four 4 x 4
4 wheeled low on its own very dangerous is this a recall or
do I need to get it fixed

definatley.if that happens at hi speed it could very disastrous.not only for you and others on the road but your tranny and transfer case would explode.

Get it fixed, check and see if it is a recall. Usually shows up in the vehicle history.
