2007 charger with hemi ran hot i called a tow truck, he was able to drive it out of the carport and put it on the back of the tow truck so i was wondering how much damage is done if he's able to drive

I wouldn't worry. As long as he didn't run it for too long (more than a few minutes) it is okay to run it if it is a little bit too hot hot... Especially because the motor is relatively new. I wouldn't worry about it. Allot of newer motors have a self-preservation trait where they can actually tun themselves off or refuse to start if they are too hot.

Yeah, no worries, If you called a tow truck some amount of time must have went by before he (she) even got there, it was cool and it takes maybe 5 minutes of run time to drive it up on a flatbed. How hot is "hot"? Does it have a gauge, and if so do you mean it pegged in the red or only got over the middle. Some folks consider an engine 'hot' if it goes beyond normal op temp at all
