you need to change the fuel lever sensor not the pump

is it on the driver side or the passenger side? I thought by changing the pump it would solve the problem, it had a float on it as well

sometimes new pumps are defective as well, but whenever you change the pump you should change the filter as well, which is on the right rear passenger side under the seat. I have a 08 charger as well I actually did it myself.
